MADE Internship (Paid) & CUNY Spring Forward
MADE is very prestigious...very competitive
Launched in 2018, the MADE (Marketing & Advertising Education) Program has placed over 180 students in paid summer internships at top companies and has connected hundreds more students to the advertising & marketing industry through the MADE Online platform.
The MADE Program was developed in response to findings uncovered in the AEF study “Bridging the Talent Disconnect: Charting Pathways to Future Growth“. There was a resounding call across key stakeholders – students, academia, and industry – on the need for a robust internship experience as a critical step to future employment.
However, securing an internship is often a reflection of who a student knows, instead of who a student is, putting many at a disadvantage. The MADE Program is designed to level that playing field and enable students of all backgrounds to gain valuable industry experience, regardless of their school, major or industry connections.
MADE functions as the “Common App” of marketing & advertising internships. A MADE candidate is matched with potentially dozens of internship opportunities at our partner companies based on traits such as critical thinking and leadership potential.
The MADE application has a priority deadline of October 18thth and will completely close on January 24th, 2025. If you are a top student—and you know if you are or not—apply as soon as possible here. NOTE: You will need letters of recommendation for this application as well as other materials and writings. Please give recommenders plenty of time to write your letter and make sure they know you and your work.

Kickstart your career with CUNY Spring Forward. Secure a paid internship, gain valuable experience, and build professional connections. The program runs from March-May 2025. Intern for NYC organizations and get paid $20/hour for 15 hours/week for nine weeks.
